Sealed Lead Acid Battery Recycling

Ever wondered what happens to all of those stand by batteries from fire alarm control panels when they have to be periodically replaced? Well Firecrest Services Ltd have set up a certificated licensed waste facility at our offices in Wallingford. All waste sealed lead acid batteries are returned to our premises and stored in special WEEEeasy sealed lead acid battery bins.

Once these containers are full, they are collected by specialist vehicles and transported to be re-cycled. This method is the most environmentally favourable option and helps us as accompany to do our bit to help with the environment.
